Jacob Gomez is the oldest of four children, and like many first-borns, he’s proactive and personable. At his high school, Jacob takes AP classes, is a peer leader and volunteer, and has represented his school on both the football field and in the pool as part of the Wolfpack water polo team. Though his school doesn’t have a rugby team (yet), Jacob has played rugby with two clubs since 2008 – the Coastal Dragons and the Temecula Lions – and was even selected as part of the prestigious Southern California Griffins team before an injury sidelined him.
Jacob is down-to-earth and loves solving problems, which is how he came up with ChoreBoardz – to solve his family’s to-do list confusion. As word got out about “that great chore board”, orders started coming in from other families and hence, ChoreBoardz became official.
Jacob lives a healthy lifestyle as well. He has run the San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles marathons (twice!) and is just a few belts shy of earning his black belt in Krav Maga. He loves to relax by surfing Southern California’s ocean waves. A young entrepreneur with great dreams, Jacob hopes to bring simplicity into our technologically-complicated lives with ChoreBoardz.
